Michael Krasný Quartet

On October 23rd, no racing special will arrive at the Lučany Automotive Museum, but a real musical "engine" - the Michael Krásný Quartet.
A huge bass talent, singer and composer, who you may know from his long-term work alongside Lac Déczi, will bring music based on groove, jazz, funk, soul, R&B and Latin American rhythms. Michael has years of experience on the Czech and New York stages, hundreds of concerts around the world and collaborations with a host of well-known musicians. He will present his own project here - energetically, without unnecessary boundaries between genres and, above all, live! And because good music and beautiful machines are close to each other, we think that the Automoto museum will be the right garage for this evening. Come, it will be an experience!

Busy autumn at the museum

A big ride awaits us at the museum in the fall!
Straka, Vencl, Brezovar… The phenomenal presenter Martin Straka will tell us about the world of big races on the silver screen and how it really was. Before that happens, he will present the opening of an exhibition of photographs from the Le Mans Classic in our and your Museum. Czech IceMan, Freediver and world record holder David Vencl will let us look under the hood of his icy world and at both sides of the coin of the life of a world champion. At the end, we can expect a whirlwind of positive life energy presented by the motorcycle traveler, the great Igor Brezovar.

Laco Déczi & Celula New York

Trumpeter, composer, eccentric and elemental, who made it from Czechoslovakia to the New York jazz scene. With his band Celula New York, he serves jazz that doesn't ask about the speed limit and concerts where you never know exactly what's coming around the next bend. But one thing is certain: boredom will remain somewhere in the pits. Now this unmistakable guy will come to the Lučany Automoto Museum. So no chrome polishing, no warm-up lap. Laco Déczi is not a veteran. He's a racing special that has long ignored recommended service intervals.

Sales exhibition of photos by Martin Straka

From 14. 10. 2026, it is possible to admire the photographs of the great presenter and photographer, the popular Martin Straka, in the vestibule of our museum. A total of 18 carefully selected images, displayed in approximately A1 format, connect the theme of the 24H Le Mans, i.e. the author's "hearts". Each photograph will be made in only one original version with the author's signature and the date of the opening. The opening of the exhibition starts on 14. 10. at 6 pm and the entire exhibition finishes in September 2027. You can view it every weekend from 10 am to 6 pm, when the museum is normally open.

Parking at the museum for you too

Our Museum offers the possibility of storing your car or motorcycle in secure, ventilated and suitably temperature-controlled areas with minimal sunlight. In connection with the storage of your vehicle, we also offer, by arrangement, the associated possibility of servicing, repairs, painting or other workshop work. All vehicles using the landfill services are insured against theft and damage in the Museum premises. The building itself is guarded by a security system and a security service monitoring the building via a PCO.

CARS

The automobile is a symbol of the twentieth century. It has become an obvious part of us. We present to you a fascinating path of progress and development, which will surely interest even visitors who would otherwise never even begin to think about this topic.

If, at one moment and in one place, you see an elegant Laurin and Klement car from the beginning of the century next to a wild Lamborghini Diablo from the end of the century, it is an incredible contrast. Capturing the gradual path of development throughout the century represented by many models and brands including original racing cars will reliably attract the attention of even small visitors, who will at least for a moment forget about the virtual version of our world and soak up the real atmosphere of times long gone.

MOTORCYCLES

In our exhibition you will find both models from the beginning of the century, whose control and features are difficult to grasp from today's perspective, as well as representatives of the golden era of European motorcycles, up to the boom and development of manufacturers from the land of the rising sun. And all this spiced up with thoroughbred racing specials.

DAKAR

The very name of the Senegalese metropolis is sure to shake the spirits of anyone familiar with motoring, sports and adventure. Every year since 1979, a large group of enthusiasts, adventurers and thoroughbred competitors have set out on a long journey, which is not only a top sporting event, but also often a great adventure.

In our exhibition you will find authentic racing machines, in the foreground of which stands the legendary multi-winning quad of Josef Macháček, or the first Dakar motorcycle of local matador David Pabiška. In addition to other motorcycles and four-wheelers, you will find original artifacts originating from this long-distance competition, which is often described as the most difficult and demanding motoring event on the planet.
